Hello! I’m Hayley—a filmmaker, photographer, and editor with a passion for capturing authentic moments and telling real stories.

My love for visual storytelling began long before I knew what to call it. At five years old, I was already that kid with a camera in hand, documenting every family moment I could capture. What started as childhood curiosity grew into a lifelong passion that became crystal clear by high school—this was what I wanted to do with my life.

I’m a self-starter who taught myself editing through iMovie and CapCut, then pushed further to learn Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve on my own. I recently graduated from BCIT’s Television and Video Production program, where I honed my technical skills and deepened my craft. But the learning never stops for me. Every project is an opportunity to grow, every challenge is a chance to push my skills further, and I’m always eager to explore new techniques and technologies.

I’m drawn to real moments and genuine emotion. Whether it’s the raw honesty of documentaries, the intimacy of weddings, the energy of a film set captured through BTS photography, the cozy warmth of Hallmark productions, or the intrigue of true crime mysteries—I love being there when life unfolds. Nature inspires me, authenticity drives me, and I thrive in work that captures life as it happens.

I specialize in camera operations, post-production editing, photography, and a dash of motion graphics which I’m eager to expand those skills even further. I also have experience with producing and pre-production tasks. I’m a dedicated team player who brings a hardworking, solution-focused approach to every project, and I believe the best work comes from people who care deeply about what they create.
